Roasted Sesame Mayo. Mayo as its best

  • 300 g sushi rice
  • 10 nori sheets
  • Filling of your choice (surimi sticks, avocado, tofu, cucumber)
  • Red Phoenix Sesame Mayo
  • Red Phoenix Toppings + Mayo, for garnish

Let’s get started

Cook the rice
Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely.

Prep the setup
Cut the nori sheets in half. Cover your sushi mat with plastic wrap (to prevent sticking) and place a half sheet of nori near the top edge.

Form the rice layer
Spread a thin, even layer of cooled sushi rice over the nori. Close the mat, gently press, flip it over, and open it again—now the rice is facing down and the nori is on top.

Add your fillings
Place your chosen filling strips in the center of the nori.

Roll it up
Roll tightly using the sushi mat, just like a traditional sushi roll. Slice into bite-sized pieces with a sharp, wet knife.

Garnish and serve
Finish with a drizzle of Red Phoenix Sesame Mayo and your favorite crunchy Red Phoenix toppings.
