HOT HONEY SRIRACHA HALLOUMI BITES

Golden, crunchy halloumi coated in spiced cornflake crunch, finished with a sticky glaze of hot honey and Red Phoenix Sriracha Extra Hot. These bites are addictive, easy, and made for dipping, sharing, or devouring solo.

INGREDIENTS
Crispy coat. Melty center. Spicy-sweet glaze.

- A drizzle of Red Phoenix Sriracha extra hot for those who like it fiery
- 450 g halloumi
- 4 eggs
- 400 g cornflakes, finely crushed
- 4 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp Red Phoenix Sriracha Extra Hot
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Smash the cucumber
Using the flat side of a knife, gently smash the cucumber. Cut into rough chunks (preferably at a diagonal), sprinkle with salt, and let drain in a colander for 10 minutes.

Cube the halloumi
Cut the halloumi into bite-sized cubes, roughly 2 cm.

Set up your coating stations
In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another, mix the crushed cornflakes with paprika.

Cook until crispy
Airfryer: Cook at 200°C for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Oven: Bake at 180°C for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.

Glaze and finish
In a small bowl, mix the honey with Red Phoenix Sriracha Extra Hot. Drizzle generously over the hot halloumi bites and finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds..
